The Licence

Kahnawà:ke: Starsten Limited holds a Client Provider Authorization from the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission. The Commission's own list of certified operator URLs records 22bet.com against that permit holder, alongside six other brands the same company runs, among them 20Bet, National Casino and Bizzo Casino. Its certificate for the site gives the permit as held since 19 May 2021 and expiring 19 May 2031, with a compliance audit completed on 26 November 2025.

22Bet's own footer says the same thing in more detail. It states that the site is operated by Starsten Ltd., incorporated under the laws of British Virgin Islands, address at Quijano Chambers, P.O. Box 3159, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Company Number 2174149. Kahnawake license No. 01056 issued on 13 May 2026. The company is registered in the British Virgin Islands and the gaming licence is Kahnawà:ke's, which are two different things and worth keeping apart.

Two things to weigh against that. The Commission's permit-holder list carries its own update date of 28 September 2023, so what it establishes is that 22bet.com is a certified URL of a named permit holder — not that the permit is in good standing this morning. And the licence seal in 22Bet's footer carries image text reading Curacao while linking to the Kahnawà:ke certificate. The two disagree, and the link is the one that resolves to a regulator's own record.

Where 22Bet Is Not Licensed

Not Malta. The Malta Gaming Authority's URL checker returns no entry for 22bet.com and no near match either — the same tool, given a brand that is licensed there, returns its licensees, so the blank is the register's answer rather than the tool failing. Not Great Britain: a business search of the Gambling Commission's public register for 22Bet returns no results. Neither is a mark against the brand, because a Kahnawà:ke permit holder is required to hold neither, but both are claimed for 22Bet elsewhere and neither is true.

What Still Could Not Be Established

22bet.com refuses visitors in the United States, answering with a page stating that access to the website is prohibited in the USA, and the 22Bet country-code domains answer with a page saying the site is not available in the visitor's country. The lobby, the cashier and the terms could not be read, so nothing is written here about the games, the software providers, the payment methods or the minimum age. The founding year is unknown: 22Bet's affiliate programme site states that it has been driving traffic since 2017 — and that is the affiliate programme, not the casino.
