About Caesars Casino
Ownership
Caesars Palace Online Casino is Caesars Entertainment, Inc.'s own product. Caesars announced it from its own newsroom as an online casino app and desktop platform tied to the Caesars Rewards loyalty programme, and placed it alongside Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, Tropicana Online Casino, Harrah's Online Casino and WSOP.COM in its iGaming portfolio. Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is the successor to Harrah's Entertainment rather than a separate company: the company's own timeline records that Harrah's Entertainment became Caesars Entertainment, and that Eldorado Resorts, Inc. later purchased Caesars Entertainment. Caesars' own corporate history states that Caesars Entertainment, Inc. and Eldorado Resorts, Inc. came together in 2020.
History
Caesars Entertainment, Inc. dates its beginning to Reno, Nevada in 1937 and says it has grown since through the development of new resorts, expansions and acquisitions. Its timeline records that Bill Harrah opened his first bingo parlour in Reno that year, and that the business grew to include Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which the timeline places in 1966. The online casino is a recent extension of that brand and runs on a platform Caesars states it built itself.
Where It Is Approved
This is a North American casino. New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement publishes the list of internet gaming sites approved to conduct internet gaming operations in the state and states plainly that any site not on the list is not approved; caesarspalaceonline.com/us/nj/casino appears on it under Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey as an affiliate of Tropicana Atlantic City Corp. The Michigan Gaming Control Board's list of authorised platform providers records caesarspalaceonline.com/us/mi/casino under the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians with Caesars as the platform provider. Caesars' own launch announcement also names Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ontario; those jurisdictions could not be confirmed on their own regulators' registers, and no licence number appears on either of the lists that could be read.
Minimum Age
The casino states on its own site that a player must be 21 or older, and its terms of service state that the services may only be used by someone 21 years of age or over and that it is a criminal offence to allow a person under 21 to take part in internet or mobile wagering on casino games.
