There’s a new online roulette game in town and I have a feeling you’ll be hearing a lot more about it soon. Betfair Casino debuted the new game earlier this week and early reports claim the game has already caught on in a big way among gamblers. I got a chance to try it out myself and can confirm that for once, someone has remade a casino classic for the better.
It’s called Cash Out Roulette and differentiates itself from traditional roulette by allowing you to create your own wagers that last across multiple spins of the wheel. You know how in normal roulette each spin the wheel is a separate wager? Well, you still have those regular bets in Cash Out Roulette, but it also allows you to place wagers on something happening X number of times within X number of spins.
Create Your Own Bets
The ability to create custom wagers makes Cash Out Roulette different than any other roulette variation you’ve ever seen. For example, you can place a wager that the ball win land on red at least 3 times within the next five spins or that the ball will land on the number 3 at least once within the next 8 spins. There are an almost endless number of wagers you can create in this manner using the sliders placed off to the side of the screen.
First, you choose from one of six markets:
- red/black
- single number
- column
- dozen
- high/low
- even/odd
Next, you choose the outcome you’re looking for within that market. If you selected single number, for example, the selector below would let you choose any number between 0 and 36.
After you choose your market and outcome, you select the number of spins you want this wager to last and how many times you want that outcome to hit. For example, you might select “even” to hit 1 time within the next 3 spins. That particular wager would offer a smaller payout because it’s fairly likely you’ll get at least one “even” outcome within 3 spins. Alternatively, you could wager that “even” will hit all 3 times over the next 3 spins for a significantly higher payout.
There are many combinations you make and the payouts range from less than even money to nearly 400,000:1. For example, you could bet £1 that the number “1” will appear at least 7 times within the next 24 spins for a chance to win £390,897.85.
As you place multi-spin wagers, you can still place normal bets the old-fashioned way on each individual spin. Cash Out Roulette offers everything the traditional version offers plus everything discussed so far.
Early Cash Out
The name of the game derives from an early cash out feature that allows you to lock in your wins before any multi-spin wager has come to a conclusion. If you get off to a good start, you always have the option to call it good and collect your winnings immediately at a discounted price.
For example, let’s say you place a bet that the ball will land on an even number four times within the next eight spins. Next, let’s say you get three evens in a row right off the bat. At this point, you could choose to take a reduced payout and end the bet now to avoid any risk of getting four misses in a row.
