Games Global

Games Global describes itself as a business-to-business supplier of online casino games, and its own site says the business was established in 2022. A company called Games Global Operations Limited holds one remote licence on the Gambling Commission’s register, active from 15 February 2022; the register shows us a name, and nothing we read states the corporate relationship between that licensee and the business described at gamesglobal.com. On its own account it supplies slots, table games, video bingo, video poker and crash games through in-house and partnered studios, with a progressive jackpot network and platform integration services.

About Games Global

What It Is

Games Global describes itself as a supplier of casino games and services to online casino operators. Its own About page states that the company was Established in 2022 and that it is committed to delivering the iGaming industry's best casino games and innovative ideas through cutting-edge software development, technical services, and hosted gaming solutions.

What It Supplies

The company sets out a range wider than slots alone: it relentlessly pushes boundaries, expanding and enriching our offering beyond slots to include table games, video bingo, video poker, crash games, and more. It also runs a jackpot network — Our established network couples fan-favourite and new games with market-leading progressive jackpots — and offers operators business management and consulting services ... including but not limited to: platform integration, analytics, and strategy services.

The Studios

Games Global does not develop everything itself. Its About page describes 40+ in-house and partnered studios, and the news items on that same page name several studios, among them Stormcraft Studios, Fortune Factory Studios, Gameburger Studios, Slingshot Studios, PearFiction Studios, Triple Edge Studios, Just For The Win, Switch Studios and Real Dealer Studios. We should be exact about what that shows: these are studios the company writes about on that page, which is not the same as the company listing them as members of the 40-plus roster it describes. It does not publish that roster anywhere we read.

Licensing

One licence in that name is on the Gambling Commission's own register for Great Britain. The Gambling Commission's public register records Games Global Operations Limited under account number 58841, with a head office at 62 Circular Road, Douglas, Isle of Man, holding remote licence 058841-R-334504-006 covering the activities Gambling Software and Game Host (Casino), active from 15 February 2022.

For Malta the company states that Prima Networks Limited (C46476) of The Unicorn Centre, Level 2, Triq l-Uqija, SWQ 2335, Swieqi, Malta is licenced and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority for Type 1 Gaming Services, under Licence Number MGA/CRP/926/2021, issued on 28th February 2022. Two things about that are worth saying plainly. It is the company's own statement and we have not confirmed it against the Authority's register. And nothing we read establishes what the relationship between Games Global and Prima Networks is, so we do not record that licence as a Games Global licence.

Games Global's licensing page lists a further fifteen regulators by logo, among them Alderney, Belgium, Gibraltar, Greece, Ontario, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Peru and five United States jurisdictions. Those are the company's claims and are recorded as such pending a register check.

What We Could Not Establish

Readers who follow this industry will expect this page to say where Microgaming's games business went. We cannot source an answer, so we do not give one. On the two Games Global pages we read — its About page and its licensing page — neither the name Microgaming nor the name Quickfire appears at all, and the Gambling Commission records no trading names against account 58841. We only state what a company or a regulator publishes, and neither publishes a connection.

Two other things are not established. The company names no parent or ultimate owner anywhere we read. And the Commission publishes a head office address rather than a place of incorporation, so where Games Global Operations Limited is incorporated is not something this page can tell you.

FAQ

Games Global FAQs

Did Games Global Take Over Microgaming’s Games Business?
We cannot tell you, because no source we can cite says so. On the two Games Global pages we read, its About page and its licensing page, neither the name Microgaming nor the name Quickfire appears, and the Gambling Commission records no trading names against its licence account. We only state what a company or a regulator publishes, so we leave the question open rather than answer it from somewhere we would not cite.
Where Is Games Global Licensed?
A company called Games Global Operations Limited holds one remote licence on the Gambling Commission’s register, active from 15 February 2022. That is a name on a register: nothing we read states the corporate relationship between that licensee and the business described at gamesglobal.com, so we will not tell you Games Global itself is licensed in Great Britain. A Malta licence exists in the name Prima Networks Limited, and we do not record that as a Games Global licence either, for the same reason.
